Atomic Design is a design approach developed by Brad Frost. It aims to create reusable user interfaces by breaking down elements into different parts called "atoms", "molecules", "organisms", "templates" and "pages".

Atoms are the basic elements such as buttons, icons, titles, etc. They are then assembled to form molecules, like a form or a menu. Organisms are more complex combinations of molecules that create a self-sustaining, reusable component. Templates and pages are respectively specific arrangements of organisms to create coherent and complete layouts.

This approach promotes modularity, reusability and encourages large-scale systematic design in the user interface development process.
